Freyja is the most revered goddess in Norse mythology, associated with love, beauty, fertility, sex, war, magick, witchcraft, and wealth. She is a member of the Vanir tribe of gods but lives among the Aesir after a truce. Freyja rides a chariot pulled by cats, possesses the magical necklace Brísingamen, and is skilled in seiðr, a powerful form of Norse magick. She welcomes half of the bravest warriors who fall in battle to her hall, Fólkvangr, while Odin receives the other half in Valhalla. Freyja is known for her fierce independence, sensuality, and deep wisdom.
